Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped style attribute
Published Aug 1, 2026 · Updated Aug 1, 2026
Stored XSS in Florian Eickhorst Admin Columns for ACF Fields through 0.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript. The Color Picker column concatenates the stored ACF value into a double-quoted style attribute without context-appropriate escaping, so an injected quote creates an event handler. Contributor-level access and an administrator-configured ACF Color Picker admin column are required, and execution occurs when a higher-privileged user opens and hovers over the affected post-list cell.
