Unauthenticated shortcode execution via query-string defaults
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Injection in Saturday Drive Ninja Forms before 3.14.10 allows remote attackers to execute registered shortcodes through public forms. Query String merge-tag values used as field defaults pass user-controlled URL parameters into WordPress shortcode processing without neutralizing brackets. Exploitation requires a published form configured with a Query String default and at least one registered shortcode, bounding effects to that shortcode's behavior.
