Customer data overwrite via unchecked record ownership
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Authorization bypass in MotoPress Hotel Booking before 6.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite arbitrary customer data. The customer-details update handler accepts an attacker-controlled customer_id and updates the selected record without verifying ownership against the authenticated account. Subscriber access, an enabled customer account page, and absence of an attacker-linked customer row permit victim data modification and reassignment.
