CVE-2026-15236Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated OAuth token disclosure via frontend block data

Published Aug 2, 2026 · Updated Aug 2, 2026

Sensitive data exposure in Gallery for Google Photos before 1.2.1 allows remote attackers to steal stored Google OAuth tokens. The public gallery block serializes the full token object and a REST nonce into its data-info HTML attribute, while an anonymous AJAX handler accepts that nonce and returns the same credentials. Exploitation requires an active plugin, a connected Google Photos account, and a public page containing the gallery block; the exposed refresh token enables persistent access to the linked account.
