Stored XSS via unvalidated shortcode tag name
Published Aug 1, 2026 · Updated Aug 1, 2026
Stored XSS in Codeless Page Builder 1.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's session. The cl_service shortcode uses its title_typography attribute verbatim as the service title's HTML tag name, allowing an attribute value to form an event-bearing element. Contributor access and an active Kirki Framework are required, and a higher-privileged user must preview or view the crafted post before the script runs.
