CVE-2026-15231Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Contributor-level private-post disclosure via unchecked post ID

Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026

IDOR in the TaxoPress plugin before 3.51.0 allows remote authenticated users with Contributor access to disclose private-post data. The taxopress_ai_preview_feature AJAX action accepts a preview_post ID without confirming that the requester can read that post, then returns assigned terms or other derived content. A valid preview nonce and Contributor access are required; assigned taxonomy terms leak on a stock install, while a content-word oracle requires configured local-term Auto Terms.
