Pricing overwrite and coupon disclosure via nonce-only authorization
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Improper access control in YayCommerce YayPricing before 3.5.7 allows remote authenticated users to alter pricing and read coupon codes. The yaydp/v1/page-data REST routes treat a shared WordPress REST nonce as authorization and omit capability checks for rules and coupon queries. Subscriber-level access and active WooCommerce are sufficient to overwrite the live pricing ruleset and disclose private coupon codes.
