Authenticated spreadsheet write via path traversal
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Path traversal in Saturday Drive Excel Export 3.3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write XLS/XLSX files outside the export directory. The export request accepts spreadsheet_export_tmp_name as the temporary output pathname, and ExportFile writes the generated workbook without restricting the resolved path to the export directory. Subscriber-level access reaches the export handler; the result is a server-side file write limited to generated spreadsheet content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
