CVE-2026-15146Network attack vector

SSRF via unchecked FTP passive addresses

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

SSRF in FTP passive mode in GNU Wget 1.25.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to reach internal services through crafted PASV replies. The ftp_pasv and ftp_lpsv functions copy the address and port from a server's response without matching the address to the control connection peer. The attacker must control an FTP endpoint or redirect an HTTP request to FTP; exploitation exposes responses from localhost or internal services.
