CVE-2026-15143Network attack vector

SSRF and file reads via XSD references

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

SSRF and local file reads in Red Hat OpenShift AI's file_type detector allow remote attackers to access internal resources via supplied XSD schemas. The is_valid_xml_schema function passes the request's xml-with-schema value unchanged to xmlschema.XMLSchema, which resolves HTTP and file schemaLocation references without a scheme restriction. Network access to the detector service is required; responses and file contents are not returned directly, so exploitation is blind but can reach internal services or open local files.
