Cross-site scripting via incomplete option sanitization

Cross-site scripting in NAVER Corporation billboard.js before 3.18.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through chart options. The sanitize function uses blacklist regular expressions without decoding HTML entities or stripping control characters, allowing encoded event handlers and dangerous URI schemes to survive option binding. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled chart-option content into the library and a user to render the affected chart in a browser; resulting script runs in that application's page context.
