Sandboxed code execution via WebRTC use-after-free
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Use after free in WebRTC in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.115 allows remote attackers to execute code in the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies dangling-memory access in WebRTC but has not published the affected object, function, or lifetime-management error. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-controlled HTML, and successful code execution remains confined to Chrome's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
