User redirection via unvalidated URLs
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Open redirect in IBM Engineering AI Hub 1.0.0, 1.1.0, and 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to redirect users to malicious websites. IBM has not disclosed the affected URL-handling locus; it states only that the product fails to validate user-supplied URLs before using them as redirect destinations. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link, enabling attacker-controlled navigation and limited confidentiality impact without reported data modification or service interruption.
