Stored XSS via unfiltered LLM report HTML
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Stored XSS in Drupal AI SEO/GEO Analyzer before 1.1.3 allows attackers to execute script in a privileged user's browser through report content. The module converts an LLM's Markdown response to HTML, stores it, and renders it without Drupal's filtering pipeline, trusting model output influenced by analyzed entity content. Attackers must inject text into content sent to the LLM, and a privileged user must view the resulting report; prompt injection is nondeterministic.
