CVE-2026-15062Network attack vector

Unauthorized data access via unsafe SQL construction

Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026

SQL injection in Snowflake Snowpark Python before 1.53.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter data beyond their role. DataFrameReader.dbapi accepts SQL-bearing source column names, DataFrameWriter incorporates a crafted location into COPY INTO, and DataFrame.to_csv relies on normalize_path despite backslash-quote sequences that escape its intended sanitization. Low-privilege Snowflake access and control of one of these inputs are required; successful execution can compromise a source database or expose Snowflake data across authorization boundaries.
