CVE-2026-15047Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Stored XSS in WebSharks s2Member before 260805 allows remote authenticated users with Contributor access to run JavaScript in viewers' browsers. The s2Stream shortcode writes player_title, player_description, player_tracks, and player_option_blocks into a single-quoted inline player script without context-appropriate escaping; base64-decoded values also reach that context unfiltered. Exploitation requires multisite or DISALLOW_UNFILTERED_HTML, an active plugin, a reachable JW Player library, Editor publication, and a viewer opening the post.
