Sensitive-data access via unauthenticated AI service routes
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in Red Hat OpenShift AI allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data through cluster-internal APIs. The TrustyAI Service Operator leaves gorch and NemoGuardrails endpoints on plain HTTP without authentication unless security.opendatahub.io/enable-auth is true. A co-located pod is required; the exposed APIs permit guardrail and orchestrator access and limited AI-model changes, with no reported service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
