Password-hash information disclosure via timing comparison

Observable timing discrepancy in 389 Directory Server allows remote attackers to infer partial password-hash information through LDAP binds. The PBKDF2-SHA256 verification path compares computed and stored hashes with memcmp(), whose early exit makes response time depend on matching prefixes. Exploitation requires repeated unauthenticated bind timing measurements, and PBKDF2 overhead makes practical recovery extremely difficult; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
