Authenticated Gitspace data exposure via ignored access denial
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Improper authorization in Harness 2.28.0 through 2.28.2 allows remote authenticated users to read revoked Gitspace configurations. The getAuthorizedSpaces function suppresses CheckGitspace access-denied errors and then unconditionally adds each space ID to the authorized set. A previously authorized user must retain an account and a Gitspace after space membership is revoked; the response exposes access keys, SSH commands, endpoints, and private-repository details.
