Authenticated post disclosure via unchecked AJAX authorization
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Missing authorization in Codection Import and export users and customers 2.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary posts. The acui_email_template_selected AJAX handler accepts an attacker-chosen post ID and returns post_title and raw post_content without checking capability or post type. Subscriber access and a nonce exposed on a crafted wp-admin URL suffice to disclose draft, private, future, trashed, password-protected, or non-public post data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
