Remote code execution via chained upload bypass
Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026
Missing authorization in Revmakx WP Duplicate 1.1.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload arbitrary files. The process_add_site() AJAX handler omits a capability check and lets a subscriber set prod_key_random_id; handle_upload_single_big_file() then accepts a traversal path and writes attacker-controlled content. Subscriber access is required for the first step, after which the stored key bypasses upload authentication and enables server-side code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=* <=1.1.8

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
