CVE-2026-1498Network attack vector

LDAP disclosure and authentication bypass via injection

Published Jan 30, 2026 · Updated Jan 30, 2026

LDAP injection in WatchGuard Fireware OS allows remote attackers to retrieve LDAP server data through an exposed web interface. The exposed web handlers pass attacker-controlled identifier text into LDAP queries without neutralizing LDAP metacharacters; WatchGuard has not named the handler. Exposure requires a reachable authentication or management interface and a connected LDAP server; partial-identifier login also requires the user's valid passphrase.
