Unsafe deserialization in IBM WebSphere Application Server traditional 8.5 and 9.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. IBM has not published the affected component or the operation that deserializes attacker-controlled data. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, although exploitation requires high-complexity conditions that IBM does not describe; successful attacks execute code in the server process.
