Subscriber settings modification via ungated AJAX handlers
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Missing authorization in CusRev Customer Reviews for WooCommerce before 5.116.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter plugin options. Several settings-related admin-ajax.php handlers invoke update_option or return sender and license configuration without nonce or capability checks. A Subscriber or WooCommerce Customer account is sufficient to write banner and sender settings and read store sender details; unauthenticated requests are rejected.
