Unauthenticated post creation and overwrite via unchecked AJAX
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Pauple Studios Tablesome before 1.1.31 allows remote attackers to create or overwrite published WordPress content. The store_tablesome_data AJAX action accepts attacker-supplied table_data and performs add or edit operations without authentication, a capability check, or nonce validation. No account or user interaction is required, and remote attackers can publish a new post or replace an arbitrary post or page selected by ID.
