SQL injection via unvalidated JSON import
Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026
SQL injection in LatePoint 5.2.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through JSON import. OsSettingsHelper::import_json passes attacker-controlled row fields, including wordpress_user_id, to $wpdb->insert without sufficient validation. Administrator access and a valid import nonce are required; successful queries can read or modify data or delete database tables.
