Plaintext password storage in the User directory of ARC Informatique PcVue before 17.0.0 allows local users to retrieve built-in credentials. Project User directories persist passwords for built-in accounts without protecting them from disclosure to users who can read the project files. Local low-privileged access is required; Active Directory accounts are outside scope, and the demonstrated consequence is credential disclosure.
