Improper truststore protection in IBM Access Client Solutions 1.1.2.0 through 1.1.9.13 allows local users to inject a rogue CA. The application makes the certificate truststore publicly writable, allowing an unprivileged local process to add an attacker-controlled CA. Local workstation access is required; the injected CA can subvert certificate validation and expose or alter protected application traffic.
