Private attachment disclosure via unauthorized REST download
Published Jul 31, 2026 · Updated Jul 31, 2026
Missing authorization in Support Genix before 1.4.48 allows remote attackers to download private ticket attachments through a REST route. The file-download handler serves a ticket or reply attachment when given its ticket identifier and exact stored filename, without requiring cookies, a nonce, or an ownership check. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires out-of-band knowledge of the CSPRNG-prefixed stored filename, and the confirmed consequence is attachment disclosure only.
