Subscriber campaign creation via unchecked AJAX capability
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Improper access control in Themeum WP Crowdfunding before 2.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to create campaign posts. The addfrontenddata AJAX action accepts the front-end campaign form and creates a campaign without checking the campaign_form_submit capability. A Subscriber account and a nonce exposed to any logged-in user are sufficient to create an unauthorized campaign product under that account.
