Local application crash via treemagic header underflow

Buffer underflow in GLib content type parsing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 through 10 allows local users to crash applications. The parse_header() function stores a treemagic header-line length in a signed integer, so an extremely large crafted line wraps the length and underflows a pointer before an out-of-bounds memory access. Exploitation requires a local user to install or process the crafted treemagic file; the bounded result is application termination or instability rather than data disclosure or modification.
