CVE-2026-14843Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated person-data overwrite via unchecked record ID

Published Jul 31, 2026 · Updated Jul 31, 2026

IDOR in Events Made Easy before 3.1.4 allows remote attackers to overwrite personal data in any person record through a public request. The unauthenticated data-change handler accepts a caller-supplied person identifier and writes submitted fields after checking only a public nonce, without verifying a per-record token or record ownership. Any network user who can reach the handler can modify another person's stored details; no account or victim interaction is required.
