Unauthenticated post disclosure via unchecked REST endpoint
Published Aug 1, 2026 · Updated Aug 1, 2026
Information disclosure in Mapster WP Maps before 1.24.0 allows remote attackers to read unpublished WordPress posts through a public REST route. The /wp-json/mapster-wp-maps/feature route accepts a post ID and returns its title and full content without authorization or post-status checks. No authentication or cookies are required; draft, pending, private, and trashed posts are exposed, while password-protected bodies are withheld.
