Administrator script execution via unescaped ticket history
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Stored XSS in StellarWP Event Tickets before 5.28.4 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in administrators' browsers. The Move Tickets workflow copies an Editor-controlled event title into a ticket history log and renders it without output escaping. Exploitation requires WordPress multisite, an Editor or higher role, the default Move Tickets feature, and an Administrator or Super Admin to expand the ticket's History panel.
