Authenticated command execution via unrestricted lesson upload
Published Jul 5, 2026 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in SourceCodester Onlne Examination & Learning Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The process_lesson.php handler accepts lesson_files uploads from any logged-in session, preserves the supplied filename extension, and moves the file into the web-accessible uploads/lessons directory without type validation. A self-registerable student account is sufficient to upload a PHP web shell and run commands with the web server's privileges.
