Local application crash via unchecked opcode count
Published Jul 5, 2026 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Integer overflow in radare2 6.1.0 through 6.1.6 allows local users to crash the process via an oversized aos opcode count. cmd_anal_opcode parses the count with r_num_get, narrows it to a signed int, and uses it without first enforcing the required upper bound. A user must be able to run radare2 commands locally; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash, not data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
