Unauthenticated account field manipulation via column injection
Published Jul 5, 2026 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Multi-Vendor Online Groceries Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter fields via registration. The save_client() and save_vendor() functions in classes/Users.php escape POST values but insert unvalidated field names into a backtick-quoted INSERT statement. Unauthenticated access to client or vendor registration is sufficient to inject attacker-chosen column assignments and override account defaults.
