Administrator phishing via stored Referer URI injection
Published Jul 4, 2026 · Updated Jul 4, 2026
Stored URI injection in Kiril Kirkov Ecommerce-CodeIgniter-Bootstrap master allows remote attackers to plant malicious links in the admin orders page. setReferrer stores the first unvalidated HTTP Referer in the session; checkout persists it, and the orders view inserts it unescaped into href. A fresh anonymous session and completed order are required; an administrator must open and follow the link before phishing redirection occurs.
