Unauthenticated account takeover via reset-link host injection
Published Aug 1, 2026 · Updated Aug 1, 2026
Improper authentication in BloomPixel DynamicKit for Elementor before 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to take over accounts via a crafted reset URL. The unauthenticated dkel_lf_process_lost_pass AJAX handler accepts page_url and uses its unvalidated host to construct the emailed reset link. The Login Form widget must expose lost-password functionality, and takeover requires the target to click the emailed link and disclose its valid reset key.
