Subscriber-level language tampering via unchecked AJAX
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Missing authorization in Ray Enterprise Translation through 1.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to alter configured site languages. The lingotek_language AJAX action accepts POST requests to add a language and DELETE-override requests to remove one without a capability or nonce check. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; deletion excludes the last language and any language with assigned content, but successful requests corrupt the multilingual configuration.
