Subscriber-level API token overwrite via unchecked AJAX
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Missing authorization in Lingotek Ray Enterprise Translation 1.7.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to overwrite its API token. The lingotek_authorization_action AJAX handler stores the Token request header in the lingotek_token option without capability or nonce checks. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; no valid Lingotek credentials are required, and changing the token breaks the legitimate cloud-service connection.
