SSRF via unrestricted HTTP redirects
Published Jul 31, 2026 · Updated Jul 31, 2026
SSRF in Google MCP Toolbox for Databases 0.3.0 through 1.4.0 allows remote attackers to reach internal or external endpoints. The generic HTTP source client in internal/sources/http/http.go follows redirects without CheckRedirect or destination-IP validation. Exploitation requires an HTTP source or tool whose attacker-influenced path reaches a redirecting backend; successful requests can read or modify reachable services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
