Unauthenticated SSRF via enabled SIP container
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
SSRF in IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 and 9.0 and Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.8 allows remote attackers to access internal resources. The SIP container accepts an unauthenticated request that triggers a server-side request, but IBM has not disclosed the controlling field or destination parsing. Exposure requires sipServlet-1.1 to be enabled and permits access to resources reachable from the application server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
