CVE-2026-14528Network attack vector

Sensitive-data exposure through unsafe logging

Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Sensitive-data exposure in IBM WebSphere Application Server traditional 8.5 and 9.0 allows remote attackers to obtain logged information. The affected code writes sensitive information to a log file, but IBM has not disclosed the component, field, or request that triggers the write. The network path requires no authentication and has high attack complexity; exploitation exposes sensitive data without interrupting service.
