CVE-2026-14503Network attack vector

Site backup disclosure via unauthorized AJAX request

Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026

Sensitive information exposure in pCloud WP Backup 2.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to download full-site backups. The wp2pcl_ajax_process_request_inner AJAX handler accepts subscriber-level start_backup requests without an administrator capability or nonce check, generates an archive, and leaves it under an HTTP-accessible tmp/ path at a predictable URL. A subscriber account is required to trigger generation, but unauthenticated visitors who know the URL can retrieve database credentials, secret salts, and the PHP source tree.
