CVE-2026-14479

Service crash via unchecked IPC frame offset

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

Improper input validation in Autodesk Installer 2.22.0 and earlier allows local users to crash the SYSTEM service via crafted IPC input. The IPC frame parser accepts an input-specified position or offset without adequate range validation and passes it to a substring operation outside valid bounds. Local low-privileged access is required; the resulting service interruption affects availability without reported data exposure or modification.
