CVE-2026-14459Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via unvalidated package names

Published Jul 3, 2026 · Updated Jul 3, 2026

Argument injection in Pardus Software Center 1.0.4 and earlier allows local users to gain elevated privileges through crafted package names. Privileged APT actions accepted package names without validation, allowing delimiter-bearing input to be interpreted as additional command arguments. A low-privileged local account can cross the application's privilege boundary without user interaction and affect host data and availability.
