Sandbox escape via Dawn out-of-bounds memory access
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Out-of-bounds read and write in Dawn in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.46 allows remote attackers to escape its sandbox via crafted HTML. The restricted Chromium issue does not disclose the affected Dawn routine or the operation that permits memory access beyond its intended bounds. A user must open the attacker's page; successful exploitation crosses the browser sandbox and can compromise data, code integrity, and availability outside it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
