Sandbox escape via use-after-free in Dawn
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Use-after-free in Dawn in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.46 allows remote attackers to escape the browser sandbox via a crafted HTML page. Dawn accesses an object after its memory has been released; Google has not disclosed the affected object, code path, or lifetime error. A user must load the attacker-controlled page, and successful exploitation crosses the renderer sandbox boundary without requiring prior privileges.
