UI spoofing via crafted PDF
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
UI spoofing in PDFium in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.46 allows remote attackers to misrepresent browser UI through a crafted PDF. Google identifies the vulnerable locus only as an inappropriate implementation in PDFium; the restricted issue does not disclose the incorrect operation. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted PDF, and the documented consequence is deceptive interface content rather than code execution.
